Notebooks
I’ve been designing and engraving some blank notebooks (as well as creating the branded vellum wrap) for the Tulsa Punk Rock Flea Market in a couple weeks. It’s been a lot of trial and error! Turns out, not all Kraft covers are created equal. (Moleskines didn’t like my laser.) Better photos to come soon.

Not long before he died, my dad had landed his dream job as a topographer after spending years working as a line cook in nearly every restaurant, including the fast food joints, in my hometown. He was happier than I’d ever seen him. And for Take Your Daughter to Work Day that year, he brought me up in his little company’s twin engine plane as he imaged the surfaces of the desert terrain.

Designing some fun (and beautiful!) necklaces with the help of Billy the Kid Gift Shop and True Art of the Earth in Las Cruces, NM where we snagged some lovely stones and gorgeous crystals during our last visit there earlier this month. Can’t wait to show the final pieces!

About 15 years ago I stumbled into an antique store in Colorado Springs, & they had just acquired many new items from a local estate sale. I made a bee line for a stack of old photos I saw. They were really old portraits from a studio in Denver. They’re all signed by the person in the photo. I can only guess that the photographer made it a habit of keeping a copy of all of the photos be shot. I had no idea what I was going to do with them, but I loved them so I bought them.
