Femina Luna
About a month ago our daughter was painting with watercolors and painted a moon with flowers growing out of it (with a little help from me on the moon). When I saw it, one of my first thoughts was, ohh, I wanna create my own version of this. And voila, I present to you Femina Luna!
Probably the lightest, airiest, least dark of all our art.
It’s also my biggest file of all the S&H digital collages at 1.07GB. It has the longest list of sources of all our work as well.
Also this interesting fact: in our piece, Femina Marina, the mermaid I use in that is originally from a vintage cigarette ad. The woman in this one is from a liquor ad. Scroll down to see photos.
I saw you on the moon, dancing in between the rocks, floating in the light.
I saw you on the moon like a fairy tale protoplasm.
Now in our shop.
