Guillotines
What radicalized me? My father’s last request of me before taking his own life in 1998 and the 16 years before that I spent as his daughter. Sorry I haven’t made this happen, dad. Will this postcard suffice? 🫠
A few more life lessons imparted by my father:
1. Always button a shirt from the bottom up.
2. Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies are best eaten frozen.
3. History is written by the victors so most school issued history textbooks are trash.
4. The police are not your friends; they exist only to advance the authoritarian agenda of a tyrannous, overreaching government—often violently.
5. The possibilities are endless.
6. Humanity’s egomaniacal nature is causing the decimation of animal species and the very environment we depend on for our survival which will eventually cause our own demise.
7. Insects will eventually inherit this place.
8. Never trust a politician, especially if their name is accompanied by a (D) or an (R).
9. Mother earth’s drugs are superior to those created in a lab.
10. Organized religion is the root cause of so much bullshit in this world.
So, how about you? Have you been radicalized yet?
